Safety and Policing

We want everyone to enjoy the day at West Lothian Highland Games. Given that the games is very much family orientated, we ask that all visitors behave responsibly.

We will refuse admission to anyone who appears to have already had too much to drink or to groups who are behaving in a raucous manner. We have a police prescence within Meadow Park. They will remove any individuals or groups who have had too much to drink or are making a nuisance of themselves. We ask that you adhere to any instruction given by them.

Due to licensing restrictions it is not possible to bring alcohol into the park. The police will confiscate any alcohol that is brought in. A range of alcohol is available from the ‘Beer tent’.

Dogs are permitted within Meadow Park, all that we ask is that they are kept on a lead at all times and you have the necesarry equipment to clean up after them.
